Hey what's up guys? I've been looking around for some new headphones, my Bose ones broke after having them a few years. I was wondering if anyone has or have tried the new Monster Headphones? Was looking at the Solo's.
http://beatsbydre.com/products/ShowProducts.aspx ALSO! Off topic, I've been looking around for a LCD Monitor (Yes I looked at the Recommended Monitor thread) and was wondering if some could suggest something around my price range, looking for something around these specs. 1920 x 1200 2ms 21"-24" $300-400 Thank you! |

Hahha Dre ftw, to be honest man I was in the same boat as you.. having around $300 max to spend on a monitor but Ive been hearing/seeing good reviews on the Dell 24inch ultrasharp and im going to wait until it goes on sale for like $499 and grab that.
You pay for what you get and really if im going to drop 3 grand on a system i might as well go all out and grab a killer monitor, thats my 2 cents though. Since spring is coming go mow some lawns for extra cash hehehe ![]() SELL YOUR KIDNEY!! |

I'm guessing you are talking about the Ultra Sharp 2410? Yeah I may end up spending 500ish, but just trying to browse around, the only reason I don't want to go so big is because I will also be spending 3k-3.5k on a new rig when I get back home in a month...and I still need to get a mouse and a keyboard...been looking at the Razor products for those. Also this may be a dumb question, but does anyone know if you can hook up a Xbox 360 to most/all Ultra Sharp series?

can you spend $3665 for the Dell UltraSharp U2410 and the system, and I mean a system that will run that res great?
if I'm not mistaken, this will connect the xbox to the u2410 via hdmi Edited by DST4ME - 10 Mar 2010 at 2:10am |

Well, this is one of the specs you built me DST4 a while back, at about $2400. It was just kind of a "rough" spec, I figured I'd try and get another one once I get back to the states. But what would you recommend to be able to run a LCD at that res? Again like I said I'm probably looking to spend 3k-3.5k if you see any viable upgrades to put in this spec.

ya that build will do it, my $3665 was a build with 256GB ss as HDD1, 1TB as HDD2, and the dell monitor, but if you remove the HDDs then the above you have posted will do the same also, the difference will be loading and read and write speeds.

I am a sound lover. The Dr.Dre is not worth it at all.
But if you are buying them to have some nice headphones that look nice, that people will see outside your office, I would recommend it. I have the Dr.Dre beats headphones and also I have the sennheiser HD 555 headphones for my computer. So I use the sennheiser for games, and I use the Dr.Dre for outdoor music. The dr.Dre has noice canselling, and is good with your iPhone if you have one ;) As for the sound quality, the Dr.Dre does not deliver the price what they cost. If you buy quality headphones for music quality, you get better sound, but again, who wants to walk around in black huge headphones? |
