So I finally got the need and cash to buy a new gaming computer DroolingBig%20SmileDrooling
Ok my budget is $1700, including shipping.  Already got a monitor, it's a 24 inch Acer 1920x1080 H243H.

Usage will be 90% gaming and basic web surfing, no video editing or anything like that.  Games I play are usually rts(sc2) fps(cod) and mmos(guild wars 2 later this year perhaps).  I want to be able to play them at high or near high settings with good fps.  Might want to add a ssd in the future too.  Sandy Bridge, should I want until the kinks are worked out or does it matter?(I would also have a little more money if I waited)  And I want to know if I could go 2x560 in the future with just a 750 watt psu?  Thats all I can think of right now.  Any advice is welcomed.

You need to change your mobo to either the pro or deluxe if you want to do SLI later.........the 560 if that is all your budget will allow then it will run those games you listed at max settings at your resolution.....one thing though......you can I believe run two 560's with 750 watt PSU but you should get the 1k watt corsair just so you have some breathing room....that 750 will be almost maxed out.....but IMO your build looks solid to me

Cory the pro we used to suggest was the pro, not the M-pro, with the M-pro, if go sli you will have no other pci lanes open for any kind of a card, so now for dual sli deluxe is the way to go here, if you gonna suggest the M-Pro then let the person know that in sli they will not have any other pci lanes open.

Both your builds are great
