First of all I apologize if this is in the wrong section. Please relocate if that is the case or close the thread.

I am anxiously anticipating a Behemoth I ordered (first time costumer). I ordered on 4/20 so I'm checking the calendar and email multiple times a day waiting for that tracker to show up.

I wanted to try and source some protective measures for it as my job requires me to travel and live in various conditions for months at a time. It's one of the primary reasons I don't own a desktop at all, a laptop is just more suited to my lifestyle.

Previously I used a pelican case for my last 17" laptop to great effect but it was incredibly massive. I was hoping to use a padded bag and rigid sleeve but all the rigid sleeves I have found are for 15" and lower. Considering the size of the Behemoth goes up to 2.16 in width I figured Behemoth owners must be particular about the cases and bags they use.

I was initially thinking Tom Bihn's sleeve would work but checking the dimensions their largest size is too small.

I'd like to see what other Behemoth owners who travel frequently are doing to protect their expensive machines.

My current laptop is a 17" Asus gaming laptop, which I bought for a previous mobile career.

I kept it in a Swiss Army backpack, and it survived a 65mph rolling car accident. Backpack was pricey around $100, but it was well worth it.

I like Slappa bags and backpacks.  I had a M.A.S.K. backpack previously, and it had good protection for large laptops.  It fit my previous A******** M17xR3 as well as my current Krypton.

I currently use their KIKEN 2-pocket laptop bag and it offers solid padding all around as well as plenty of room.

Hi Virgil. I have a Behemoth.

The Samsonite Classic Two Gusset 17" Toploader (Black).

Works great!

I also have an old ---------(m17) back pack that my Behemoth fits in.
Mobile Edge -------- Orion ScanFast Checkpoint Friendly 17.3-Inch Backpack.

The Samsonite is so much nicer and LIGHTER!

Sorry, had to remove competitor name.

I think Tom Bihn can make a custom Brain Cell for you. Give them a call, their customer service is awesome.

+1 for Tom Bihn. Their bags are the best. I haul my MacBook Pro all over the world in an Empire Builder with a Brain Cell inside. I bet they can make a custom Brain Cell for you
