Build:
I would like to stay low but I won't lie, I was looking at doing a $4000 - 4500 behemoth build # 902976

Or a krypton level 4 but use the blueray DVD writer instead for like 3k maybe even all solid-state drives. It looks the same minus sli video cards.

I also considered not going with windows 8 and thought about going to windows 7.
Expectations:
1: Battlefield 4, DayZ, SC2, Eve Online, WoW GW2, and similar games. Decently high settings if not max and high fps hopefully..

Usage
Gaming, general use, and video editing/graphic design on a blue moon.

Special Need
Something sturdy, hoping it will survive the ride.. I drive a truck so I cant run a desktop and need it to be mobile so I can occasionally go in places

Saved Ticket #: 902976

Specifications:
On my phone so I can't really copy them efficiently.

Here's a configuration that uses all the best without breaking the bank: 903107 $3262 - Krypton w giant 960GB SSD (skip the m-sata as they are too pricey!), 4900MQ, 32GB and GTX 780M. I don't think the additional $1200 for the second 780M is worth it but that's up to you... And go with Win8.1 - proven to play games better with it's full support of DirectX 11.1 & 11.2...

And don't forget your FREE t-shirt!!

I was figuring the SSD would be better considering the movement of the truck and mechanical drives are not the best for long term survivability.

However is the the single 780m going to be capable of playing on high graphics?

I figured the only real difference in the krypton and behemoth is t ability to have sli video cards.

Will this be future proof to say maybe 3 years?

EDIT: That looks good but it looks like I need to add $52 and go windows 8.1 pro to support 32gb ram?

Win8.1 standard will support up to 128GB RAM (Pro supports up to 512GB)

As far as performance goes, not much of a laptop guy when it comes to gaming so I don't know where in the scale of things the 780M falls. Since heat is the enemy of performance and laptops are the worse at removing it, I don't know how much better performance a second GPU would be - maybe 20-30% better with the increase in heat and lack of great cooling - and that's probably for games that will support and scale well with SLI. Maybe someone on here has one of these beasts and would like to do a performance test for us so we can compare them against each other and desktop GPUs?
