Hey Venom is that an impressive bench score for my config?? I have noticed a few I7 extreams with like 6 times the ram, 4Ghz+ cpu's and 3 280' as low as 2000 points under my score which amazed me.

I love the option to save multiple profiles in the new Precision. They also have been smartly implemented into the GUI, with keeping ease of use in mind....

Well done! You just set your clocks, hit apply, and right click on the profile number that you want to remember your current settings. Done...

The Blue Edition skin has a handy lock icon to protect your saved profiles settings too...

I currently have my 10 slots set up like this for my 280:

Profile __ Core ___ Shaders __ Memory _ Comments:
Profile 1-- 602MHz - 1296MHz - 1107MHz - Stock 280 speed.

Profile 2-- 621MHz - 1350MHz - 1134MHz - SC speed

Profile 3-- 648MHz - 1404MHz - 1161MHz - SSC speed

Profile 4-- 670MHz - 1458MHz - 1215MHz - FTW speed

Profile 5-- 691MHz - 1512MHz - 1215MHz - HC speed

Profile 6-- 702MHz - 1512MHz - 1323MHz - For testing.

Profile 7-- 720MHz - 1512MHz - 1323MHz - For testing.

Profile 8-- 738MHz - 1512MHz - 1323MHz - For testing.

Profile 9-- 741MHz - 1512MHz - 1323MHz - Max I can bench, but COD4 rebooted.
Profile 0-- 738MHz - 1512MHz - 1323MHz - Current settings I am running.

My 0 profile is the one that I will be running at 99% of the time, but as new drivers come out, I may do some re-testing on the faster settings...

I did successfully play COD4 for 1 hour before profile 9 rebooted my system.
Mabey the next driver won't?

Note: At a 720MHz core speed with linked shaders, shader speed tries to jump to 1566MHz. I don't believe my 280's shaders will run that fast error free.
I keep my shaders speed set to 1512MHz, even when I pass a 720MHz Core speed. That darn Jane Nash keeps rebooting my system consistently, when I allow my shaders to run at 1566MHz.

When running with Core and Shaders linked, my shaders will fail first...

I got this from the EVGA fourms. It helped me out alot and made it simple to to get a stable OC. I use profile 4. I have not used a higher OC yet cause my gpu temps sometimes get as high as 75c and I do not know even if 75c is to hot to run a 280 at

My 280s hit 85c pretty regularly and nothing bad seems to happen.

above 80 you are running hot, once you are at 90 you are too high, your pc would shutdown before you fry anything tho, or atleast it should.

Daygn,
Just curious, What do you have memory set to?
Another note. I took a spare Q9650 Lapped it and applied Liquid Pro. It lowered my CPU temps down to 57c under full load ( OCCT ). When you have a copper CPU and a Copper cold plate it works very well. Even the Diamond compund did not do so well. I did use the diamond compound on one of two GTX 280's and it does run 1c cooler . I do not use the liquid pro- it will not wet the GPU properly.

Lapping is a procedure where you remove the nickle plating off the top surface of the cpu to expose the copper below. IN doing so you make the contact between the cold block and the CPU better. I did this to try Liquid Pro. It does void the CPU warranties etc etc.

That page is just a homepage for people to log into.  When I use your link, it takes me to a generic page that asks me to log in, and when I do so, it takes me to my own saved benchmark results =\

Have you tried the Snipping Tool?

Press the Windows Key, then type "snip" You should see "Snipping Tool" in the menu.  Click on it, and when it opens, it should put a whitish layer over your screen. Then, you can just click and drag to make a rectangle over what you want to screenshot, then release.  Afterwards, you can just save that image to your desktop; I think the default filetype is jpeg.

Another way is to click on the window you want to take a screenshot of, and Hold the Alt key, and press PrtSc (Print Screen).  Then, open Paint, and go to Edit -> Paste, or just press Ctrl+V.  Then, save the image.

This info was taken from here: http://www.wikihow.com/Take-a-Screenshot-in-Microsoft-Windows
