Best 2,560 x 1,600 monitor for 1200$?

Topic. I've been looking for a 2,560 x 1,600 monitor for so long, but I can't decide what to get. I've had my eyes on this one

Other that that one I have no idea. Please help me out if you know the best monitor for that price. Also, do games look all that much better from 2,560 x 1,600 than 1920 x 1200 and is it worth the price?

I have had my eye on the same monitor and after looking around at all other 30" 2560 x 1600 this seems to come out on top for price and quality wise. Only thing I wish is that it had was more options for connections.

Another one is the dell 3008WFP

It is just bit more expensive but with lots of input options.  Its listed at a 8ms response time compared to the 6ms with the LG but those results aren't always legit.

Both are IPS panels which has been considered best image quality, color accuracy and viewing angles.

1920x1200 = 2.3 million pixels 2560x1600 = 4 million pixels so yes games will look better but make sure you got the hardware to support it.

From what I've herd from people gaming on 30" 2560 x 1600, you won't ever want to go back to anything less.
