I'm just curious to see what systems ppl like the most this includes all gaming systems from atari to game boy to PS#'s and gaming rigs.
PERSONALLY for me its SEGA
i've owned my dreamcast 4 years and its still my fav system. i still play Sonic shuffle and SOnic Adventure. the wii would have taken its place , but the wii i believe has problems coming out with great games the wii has the potential to beat out any ps# and 360 its just it cant come out with games that use the nunchuck and stuff while still being a great game. and till it does the dreamcast is still #1 for me. its a shame SEGA went under and dosent make their own systems no more
the worst is the playstation ( keep in mind i own everything but a jaguar 3D0, a PS3 and 360) the games were to freakin hard i rember trying to beat independence day nightmare. the games sucked and were to extremely hard + the controller sucked the N^4 blew it out of the sky, but thats my opinon. What do you guys think

The SEGA Saturn is the greatest ever. Why would anyone buy anything else?

Best: an Amiga 1000 and of course my DSO machines. Worst: anything made by Dell.

For me, the greatest gaming system was the N64. It just blew my mind. Mario 64, Goldeneye, Smash Brothers and Mario Cart 64 will ALWAYS rank within my top 10 favorite games of all time. The N64 changed the whole console gaming scene for the masses.
I know alot of people will side with me here, my worst experience was with the Sega Genesis 'upgrades': the 32x and Sega CD...trully sad systems. Tiny game libraries and very sub-par performance. I loved the Genesis, but to watch it go down in unglorious flames was painful. Sega...what were you thinking?

In no particular order:
Worst:
1) Turbo-Graphics 16
2) Sega Gensis & Sega CD (you needed Gensis to play CD)
3) Panasonic 3D0
Best:
1) Playstation 1
2) N64
3) Wii Edited by MarkNY - 04 Jun 2009 at 4:03pm |

humm.... haven't owned all of these but i've played on them enough to be able to rate 'em.
1-10, 10 being the best.... 1. Wii (just not my cup o' tea) 2. Handhelds (DS, PSP, gameboy, yada yada. Not a big fan. Although... pokemon red and blue were awesome...) 3. Gamecube (okay, Melee would be very high up on a games list, but the rest... not so much) 4. NES 5. Sega Genesis (sonic was great... and that comic book game where you ran through the comic book fighting stuff. hell yes. hell. yes.) 6. PS3 7. N64 / PSX (both great) 8. XBOX 9. PS2 10. Xbox 360 I do like the PS3 but I'm not a big fan of the game selection... for now. Oh e3, how you tease me... Edited by sdelu - 04 Jun 2009 at 6:16pm |

Did you ever play Eternal Darkness on the cube? It's one of my all time favorites. I just loved the sanity system and how the game would f**k with you as a player when your character's sanity started slipping. I personally flipped out the first time the game BSOD'd me...only to find out it was a joke. The rouches crawling over the screen was a nice subtle one too. Anybody who's ever owned a Gamecube should play it. |

Well for me, I still love my Game Cube... tho that will change when All of the Metroid Prime's are released on Wii.
Worst: PS3, You cant get any that are backwards compatible anymore, and i like my PS2 games. Best: My slightly modded DS rig. I made a few changes in software, now i can play my PS, PS2, and Game Cube games with my controller. |
