Best bang for buck I have EVER seen = Sager NP5125 (Based off Clevo B1500M)
wait...does DS even carry that, lol. they should, best budget laptop I can imagine. GTX 330m with a max CPU upgrade of a i7 620M. That means it's optimus enabled, much much better battery life without sacrificing graphics potential nor good performance. the 620M is dual core, sure, but it has HT I believe. for a budget, looks pretty sweet to me, customizable for a lot of things. screen is 15", with options of 1336x768 or 1920x1080, lots of great reviews on the 1920x1080.

base price is $809

oooo, I believe the DS xm15 is indeed the NP5125....sweet

this is what I was gonna order myself, not from DS because I didn't know yet and I probably will order from now, lol. just special request a Momentus XT hybrid drive and you're all set. fits within your budget range of 1000 pounds.
