when i say value, i mean v=(cooling power-noise)*longevity/price. Just wondering what everyone's opinions are on this.

Wow, that's a proper calculation.

Your best bet is our premium Noctua cooler for mid-range cooling. For extreme cooling it's going to be the Sub-Zero LCS but that's a whole different level.

sounds good. by the premium, you're referring to the DH-14 correct? Yeah, LC isn't in my budget right now. I think i have my config set, just wanted to inquire further on cooling. Thanks.

Actually, I think the best value is the 120mm Dual. The DH-14 is the best quality, but the little bro is only a few insignificant degrees behind. Both are whisper quiet.
