I have been having some disconnect issues with my Linksys WRT300N router and LAN with two DS computers. Problem could be Total War games as in MedII and Empire. Tried to play vs friend via LAN with Medievel Total War II game, and his host computer, recent DS computer got a disconnect message. I was on the other DS computer, one year older, and it froze up.
 
I am not sure if it is hardware or software.

I will have to check again, but, I don't recall having difficulty with Medieval II Total War before. I did expect some difficulty with Total War Empire as it is buggy still.

Is it possible that having low rated networking cables (one I suspect, cause it is soooo thin compared to the other), would cause disconnect issues within a LAN game setup?
