If I have two video cards, what would most people suggest would be the best way to connect two monitors, using RGB cable or DVI?

I kinda figured...the reason I asked is because I get better resolution choices on my current computer (which only has one card, the dual card system gets delivered today) when I connect with RGB than with DVI...
