Hey Folks,

Previously I owned EVGA cards, so I used PrecisionX for these tasks:
     • Overclocking the GPU
     • Monitoring framerate in the OSD
     • Monitoring GPU temperatures in the OSD

However, now I have ASUS cards, and I'm using ASUS GPU Tweak to overclock the cards. It has a nice UI, and it has several built-in profiles that are designed specifically for my cards. That's why I use GPU Tweak rather than PrecisionX now.

Unfortunately GPU Tweak doesn't have a feature for displaying information in the OSD. Can you recommend any software for displaying framerates and temperatures in the OSD?

I thought about using the following pieces of software, but I have concerns about each one:

PrecisionX: In theory I can keep using PrecisionX to display information in the OSD. I tried it last night, and it definitely works. However, I'm concerned about running PrecisonX and GPU Tweak at the same time. They are both designed for overclocking, and I assume they might fight each other. I will use PrecisionX if I know it won't mess with the overclock created by GPU Tweak. I just want to use it for monitoring.

FRAPS: This software is great for displaying the framerate. However, it doesn't show the temperatures. It also doesn't appear to be compatible with Windows 10.

Is there anything else I should be looking at? In short, I want software just for monitoring and display in the OSD. I would prefer to stay away from software that is used for overclocking, because I'm already running GPU Tweak.

Thanks for your help.

I've used Precision and MSI Afterburner, but not with Asus Tweak.   I can't say for sure, but if you use Afterburner for OSD monitoring only, I wouldn't think it would conflict.   But, I'm not 100% .

Afterburner is a nice program.

I have heard from many people using Afterburner with OSD can cause issues especially if overclocking..i'm not sure why but when people turn it off they noticed its more stable.I use fraps sometimes still on Win 10 and it works okay.

Hi PcKiller... Does the G-510 display have its own monitoring program or does it use others, like FRAPS, HWMonitor, etc?

I think I found a good way to monitor temps:

1) First I launch ASUS GPU Tweak, and overclock the card as desired.

2) Then I launch PrecisionX, and use it for displaying temps on the OSD. As long as I don't change any of it's overclock settings, then it keeps the settings that were created by GPU Tweak.
