I have a gtx 670 and when starting guildwars 2 up today i received a warning....
you are using a driver with issues may result in side effects... update to beta driver.
Updating to beta driver 304.79 is what it wants me to do.
I want to do the right thing is it risky to download the beta?

You can update drivers all you want without worries about the warranty.

Technically, the beta is 'try at your own risk', but I personally have never had a problem.

I'm using the most recent beta drivers 306.02 (for exactly the same reason GW2), I'm having no issues with them, and they do not void your warranty (I guess only Alex could say this for sure, but I can quote a few other "gaming" companies where it does not void their warranty).

The only time a beta NVIDIA driver ever gave me an issue was in 1998, lol.

oh okay cool. I just wanted to know i wasn't alone. But i went ahead and gave it a go last night. Seems fine so far. Hopefully stays that way. Thanks everyone,

Using a BETA driver will not void your warranty, that would be silly if it did.
