Digtal Storm has more competition on the gaming PC market. Maximum PC was showing off some new BFG tech built custom systems. The only thing they offer that DS does not is they will come to your home for free to set it all up. Their top system starts at $8000. They only warrenty them for a year though. They do look pretty sweet. DS is still my first choice but these new BFGs knock off my second choice of the HP blackbird but they also costs more than HPs top machine.

Eh, took a look at it... doesn't seem like a bad little rig... touch screen *shrug* shiny but other than that... I only looked at it quickly but just didn't have much in terms of configuration options.
Heh that reminds me... I looked at the HP Blackbird... cool looking rig (heavy as hell though)... but well... I already have a DS system so yeah... already knew where to go Edited by Dredoric - 23 Jan 2009 at 7:59pm |

ehh, my second choice would be alienware, then blackbird. these guys seem a bit on the expensive side. they're still better than dell, and better than most others that i've seen so far.

Hi
Anyone else wondering about the touch screen? My very large full tower case sits under my desk. I have no problems with dvd's and the power button, but to use the lcd touch screen, I would have to get down on my hands and knees. How many people have their rig sitting where this feature would be at eye level?

Had an Alienware. The build quality stunk. It arrived with busted cable management brackets and they asked if I was really going to use them when I told them it was broken. The cheap paint job on their plastic body work rubbed off after less than a year, making the computer look like crap. The computer guts got transplanted to a different case because I got sick of looking at it. Alienware? Never again.
