im down to 1 final question which build would be better the 1 posted
below or change the cpu to e8400 ? want to be ready for the future

The E-8400 uses Intel's new 45 nanometer technology which should be faster and use less power. That is the processor I had installed in mine. Good luck. John Cordero in Las Vegas.

With regard to the last post, the Q9450 is based on 45nm technology as well.

Personally, I think given the cooling capabilities of your case, the quad is a better bet.  Your CPU selection has the necessary speed to be useful for some time to come and can overclock very well. I hate throwing out numbers because they create expectations, so I will simply say that the CPU you selected is quite capable of handling any game out there right now, and with a bit of overclocking, for some time to come.

The question is, will more games start to take advantage of the multiple cores a quad offers or not. I think they will, but I think it's still a couple of years off. The conclusion I reached, is that the quad will be fast enough short term, and has legs a core duo does not heading into the future. There are plenty of other opinions on the subject, and they are just as well reasoned. It is for you to think over and decide.
