I ran this scan from the phoenix website it tells me my bios is out of date. The release date is Jan 16, 2009. Would updating the bios affect my OC? I was not going to update this but just asking the question.
Here is the website to start the scan. Its called BIOSAgentPlus http://www.phoenix.com/en/Consumer/default.htm Here is what it told me. ![]() |

e06028 as a general rule, don't mess with the bios unless its giving you problems.

That's what I figured. I was looking for a way to auto start my pc every day. The bios does not have that option but I guess I can just turn it on since it is so fast to load.

Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Scheduled Tasks>Here "creat task" and then set up the time and etc under "triger" then in "actions" browse to explorer.exe and then in "conditions" check "wake up the computer to run this task".
I believe that should do it, tho I'm not a 100% as I have never done it myself. |

Hmmm, be interesting to see if this works. Be sure to let us know if you try it. I would assume you would have to be in sleep mode or something rather than actually being turned off.

That's one of the many reasons why I'm not a fan of SLI tech.
Back when SLI was making it's debut, I had a XFX 6600gt in my pc, and a month or so, I decided to get a 2nd card to see what it was all about. Big Mistake, the 2 cards and different dates on them, therefore they needed to be flash bios'ed. I had no idea what to do about that, plus my pc was telling me that I wasn't running enough power, so I had to get a new psu, and get help installing that in. So unless things have changed for the good, I'm still leaning against SLI/Crossfire. |

I had no plans on changing anything. My PC is working great so no need to start changing things. I ran the scan just to see what it said, it was good information and nice to know that there is a tool that can show you whats up. And I know some of you ran that scan, lol.
