I have spent too much time this morning searching for a quick link to updating my BIOS on the DS web site or the XFX site. I have the original BIOS and believe there are newer versions I should try. Where do I look and any recommendation on which version? Thanks.

What are you looking to gain from bios update?

best place to look is xfx or nvidia.

Looking to gain....just usually figure an update is wise after almost three years.....could be wrong. There are at least two updates but I can't find them or see if using either is unwise for some reason.

Don't mess with bios unless its giving you problems, you will have nothing to gain from it.

If there was a specific reason that needed a bios update that would be different but from what you are saying, you have nothing to gain from it.

xfx is telling you to go to DS for bios? did you get another idiot over there that has no idea what he is talking about? bios is made from xfx or nvidia, the board is nvidia but xfx has made their own changes to it, so they make the bios to work best with their changes, other then that nvidia has a bios for their board but its not specific for xfx's modifications, xfx would have the bios specific to their modifications.

DS does not have or make bios for anything, they can help you go to xfx site and locate the latest bios or take you to nvidia and grab bios there, both of which you can do yourself.

this is one of many reasons why I don't like xfx.

can't you login to xfx's site and get it from their downloads? here
