Hi all,
Well just got confirmation that I am finally in Stage 2! What I am wondering is while they do all the drivers and OS load, will the Bios be upgraded to the most current? I know of at least 2 Bios upgrades for the EVGA 780i boards since they have come out. Since my system is getting overclocked and if they do not do a Bios flash, will all my OC bios settings be lost when I do the Bios flash myself? On the other hand, is there a way, or utility that will let me do a total bios dump to printer, or a way to print every setting out in the bios? Would save the hassle of going page by page writing everything down. Thanks all, Roger |

Yes. If you flash the BIOS, it will go back to default/auto settings.
I don't know of any utilities that print out your BIOS settings. Maybe a digital camera? There are usually only a few settings you need to tweak for overclocking the CPU. I learned through trial and error heh. I would suggest giving Digital Storm a call and asking your questions. I'm sure someone will be able to give you all the info you need about your overclock. |
