i will direct you to this post...posted a few days ago...
testing is valuable to a custom pc. if it's built on a factory, dell/hp/etc. its just a basic comp so testing doesnt matter. if you overclock, you need testing to verify stability, and fine-tuning an overclock is a time consuming process because you have to set it up, test it, set it up again, test it again, etc. etc. etc. until you hit the absolute max the hardware will support. and if it has problems, DS swaps out the hardware on the spot and does it again. of course, they can just get tired and say, whatever, and send it to you anyways without proper stability testing passed and possibly faulty hardware. then you get yourself a lemon that won't even stay on for 10 minutes. so what would you want? get your computer now and have it possibly half baked? or, wait a little longer to make sure it arrives stable? patience is a virtue... EDIT : haHA! I ninja'd ender lol. Edited by ablahblah - 20 Sep 2010 at 10:56pm |

caps lock stage 8, yay
dont worry, they are testing it for a reason. you would rather wait for a fully stable system then get one that is dead on arrival.

nope, if anything it taking longer is a good thing, they are busy im sure but they are definitely testing the system
and hey, even if they dont, 30 days from the day you get it you are covered to send it back to them at no cost to you. it sucks to wait, but it sucks worse to get screwed out of money, and dso will not do that, just kick back, the more you sit around waiting for it, the more stressful it will get
a watched pot never boils, they say

@MONJAMAN,
I'm sorry that you feel your system hasn't been moving yet. It's only because we want to ensure you receive a properly tested product. If we do find any issues during test, we're going to ensure they get taken care of. That's why you chose a top-end system builder like Digital Storm. Our techs want to provide you the absolute best system possible. By the way, I looked up your order and it should finish testing within the next two days and then go to QA and finally packaging.
Feel free to email me directly and I'll be more than happy to help: [email protected] |

Don't worry. Mine took even longer and it turned out fine. It just seems like an eternity.
