Hello, I am awaiting my DS Nova order. I haven't used Windows in over a dozen years. Been reading up on it. I understand a lot of Windows machines come with "bloatware". Not exactly sure what that means, but there are a number of articles out there describing how to uninstall various things to make Windows run faster/smoother/leaner.

How lean are DS machines? What unnecessary "extras" come with one?

ABSOLUTELY NONE!

Bloatware is unneeded and unwanted "trial versions" of all kinds of crap many computer builders get paid to cram into your hard drive before they ship it. Digital Storm does not do that, ever.
