Hey everyone, have been very happy with my recent purchase from digital storm but hit a snag.

Though I have a blu-ray player, and GTX480s (which I'm assuming can play blu-ray) the disc doesn't play when it pops into the drive.  WMP registers it as there but won't play it, the computer sees it, but won't play it.  Apparently I need software to play it?  Or what?

It was a little upsetting to know the process was more complicated that just buying the disc drive.  Can anyone help me out on this one?

windows does not yet own any rights to play blurays with, you need seperate software

supposively "mpc home cinema" is an opensource that will play it but as i do not use bluray i can not tell you wether or not this is legal or safe

My DSO system came with a CyberLink BD Solutions disk that has BluRay playback software.

Also keep in mind that playback of BluRay movies requires every link in the chain from the BD drive to the monitor to be HDCP compliant. My old monitor is not HDCP compliant and, therefore, can't watch BluRay movies.
