I was playing TF2 when the game froze. I alt-tab and had a message that one of my display drivers was not responding and is working now. I go back to game and it goes again. Then I get a bluescreen. I restarted the computer and played TF2 again for 1hr and everything was fine. Should I be worried? Also I was listening to music with window media player while I was playing when this happened.

If so its a commomNvidia driver thing...If it happens again I would check any messages clostly and post it here....

If it keeps it up I'de drop the driver and try another.....It bluescrenned as a result of the stopped responding deal..Not to worry there...

From what i read up on it, this issue can be caused by the video cards falling completely out of sync with each other...at least thats the rumor. Usually they are always a bit off, hence the term microshutter with SLI, but sometimes it gets to a point where the game can no longer function because when a frame is due its not up yet.

Yeah, seems like its not a big problem. I was playing age of conan for 2 hours and it ran perfect. Looks like it was a fluke!

Do not dismiss this as a fluke.  When I first started getting this error, I assumed the same things; it's a driver issue, it's Vista, and was told the same by the digitalstorm crew.  Later, I find out that it was actually a bad video card that became progressively worse causing more and more of this error.  The repair and eventual and eventual total reconstruction of my PC was a nightmare causing me to be without my spanking new, very expensive PC for about 3-4 months.

I got it back about a month ago and had none of these errors at first, but as of now they are a hourly experience yet again.   I truly hope I don't have to got through the nightmare of servicing again.
