Hello everyone so I recently ordered my Bolt 2 which I'm really excited about but I had some concerns.
The first being that I heard that windows 7 (my OS) does not have software to play blurays, this is a drag because I added a bluray drive into my bolt in hopes to watch movies. I'm sure there is a way around this or a program to bypass the issue which I would like to know if any. Second is with my operating system. After much debate I decided to go with Windows 7, seeing as how I've been using XP for the past decade or so I figure this should be a stable enough build for me. Does my order of the Bolt 2 come with the CD-Rom to install Windows 7? I believe this to be important in case I need to reformat for any reason in the future. And finally my power supply, which is only 500w makes me fear that it might make me regret not getting a larger one. I'm not patient enough to wait for the back order so I went ahead and settled for the 500w. Will this prove a problem with my specs? Hi Trentsteel and welcome to the forums.
I, too, spent a decade with WinXP at home on my old gaming machine, and I have to use Win7 here at the office. I knew I was going to hate 8.1 as soon as I heard about it.
I was wrong. I spent a day with it and learned it's 'ins-and-outs' and now would rather use 8.1 than the 7 I am using here. But then again, that's just me, and as I've said before... "That's why they make chocolate AND vanilla."
Either way, I really hope you enjoy your new machine. And pics.. we want lots of pics.

Yes you will get a windows 7 CD if there ever comes a time when you need to reinstall Windows 7.
