I got Bolt X! super pumped
Ordered: 12/1718
Stage 1: 12/18/18
Stage 1 update 12/19/18
Received email stating  that I should expect to see progress in 1-2 weeks (somewhat expected)
12/26/18 I did some research and decided to upgrade to a 970 EVO SSD and the Corsair Vengeance RGB 16GB RAM, so I emailed management
12/27/18 Received reply asking what I wanted upgraded. Gave my number to call
12/28/18 Received call from DS and upgraded my rig.
1/2/2019: Today is the end of the 1-2 week window they gave me on when I should see progress, im hoping for some emails today or tomorrow!
1/3/18: Emailed Alex to check on status of build since the 2 week window was up, he replied telling me I was pending for production and might get started in the next 2 days! hopeful!
Stage 2: 1/4/19 4:47 Eastern time
Stage 3: 1/4/19 4:47 Eastern time (back to back with stage 2)
Stage 4: 1/4/19 5:50 Eastern Time
Stage 5: 1/7/19 4:26 PM eastern time
Stage 6: 1/10/19 11:37AM eastern time!

I also plan on doing an extensive review because I do not see many Bolt X reviews, but it will be my first review ever so go easy on me!

This is their busiest time of the year and they are backed up, working weekends to fill the orders.

That cpu and video card combo will play anything out their, maxed on a 1080p monitor.  Nice picks.

The Bolt does not have a built in optical drive.   No room being a smaller case.   There is an option on the config page to order an external drive, or just pick one up yourself and plug into an external USB port to use.

Congrats!

Yeah they seemed to be backed up quite a bit. I've been stuck on stage 1 since the 10th. Was told that it could be another 10 business days before I see any progress. Oh well, its that time of year.

I don't have a Bolt X, but i did have one of the original bolts to come out.It was a sweet little machine. I ended up replacing it out with a slade just to see how that system works. I think my next one will be the bolt x.

Go to Windows paint and re-size your pics to fit here. If I recall correctly, the limit is 500 pixels. Doesn't seem to mess with the fidelity of the image.
