We now offer a horizontal stand on our configurator for the 3.6" wide Bolt system. Customers can now lay their system flat to fit into a home theater cabinet without restricting airflow on the PC. We're offering it for $29, existing customers can also call our sales team and order one for their system.

Screws into the side panel vents, it re-uses those screws.

Can a monitor set on top or would not affect ventilation or chassis temp?

Not recommended due to the vents on the other side panel for the CPU.

The Bolt makes an excellent HTPC, a lot of our customer use it for that purpose along with Steam Big Picture Mode.

No what I was referring is the geometry

Currently the Front and rear of the Bolt are a Trapazoid.
The 2 sides are equal lengths, but the width of the top of the Bolt is less than the width of the bottom of a vertically standing bolt.

Will it retain that shape, or did it became a Full rectangle with opposite sides being equal lengths?

in the above picture, it looks like a rectangle, but that could be the camera angle adding a perspective to fool the eyes.

It is not a full rectangle as the stand cannot change the shape of the chassis.
