Ok I see that in the Bolt II the gpu is not inserted directly into the motherboard. In the pics I see the power supply connected, but how does the system read the gpu?

The graphics card is connected to the mobo by a riser cable, a flexible ribbon cable the connects on one end to the card and the other to the motherboard's Pciex slot. This allows the card to sit in the same plane as the mobo instead of a right angle.
Hope this helps.

Ah I see. So it lies parallel to the mono instead of perpendicular.
