Budget:
1700

Expectations:
Speed, multi-tasking, high-end gaming performance

Usage:
Battlefield 3, Crysis 3, (Battlefield 4 in the future), Internet, School-work

Configurations:

Vanquish: Lvl 4

Bolt: Lvl 2 with i7, GTX 670 (4g), Windows 8

Questions:

How will the Bolt run with this setup only with 500w power source? Also, what differences between the two will make the biggest difference, because obviously there is a significant price difference. Specifically I'm interested in the difference between the two in terms of liquid cooling (and lack thereof in the Bolt), the motherboard, and the inability for the Vanquish to be upgraded to i7. (I kind of like the idea of having an i7)

Hi waywardson...   The 500W psu in the Bolt will handle it with no problem.  DS and others like various pc mags have tested it to everyone's satisfaction.

If you want the I7-3770k chip then the Bolt is the answer, between the two systems..    The difference in price between the two builds is probably the extra $180 for 3770k over the 3570k.

The Bolt 2 doesn't have overclocking so the stock cpu fan is what it has,  The Vanquish 4 does have oc'ing and the add-on cooler is to take care of the added heat.

Motherboards....  The Bolt has a mini mobo with single Pci slot.  The Vanquish has a full size mobo with added slots for additional cards, like audio, etc.  Neither can sli.

With your Bolt 2 config you have the added 3770k but the Vanquish 4 has an SSD and oc'ing.  Depends what you want.
