On Halloween night I purchased my FIRST PC (I am so happy, I have been on Console for 14 years... LOL) and I'm just a little confused because it's apparently on the way and being picked up by UPS. Is this true? I don't want to get my hopes up because I heard the waiting process is extremely painful but so worth it. Also isn't there a lot of stages to go through? Last time I checked which was a few days ago (Friday I believe) it said I'm now on Stage 2. Now I get an email from this afternoon that says "The status of your amazing new Digital Storm has been updated! Your order has successfully passed our stringent stress-testing and quality assurance process." I get another email the same day that says "Congratulations, your package has shipped!" Whattt? Already? I want to get super excited but I just don't know lol. Sorry if this is a really stupid question lol I just want to know for sure.

So did I somehow get past all those stages already? I feel like I'm missing something here.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new build Boorgz! I think if DS told you it's shipped, then it's on the way to you now...lol.

The Stage notices are not live...it's not unusual to receive multiple stage notices in a day...and evidently DS caught up from Stage 2 and made fast progress.

Better prepare a good place for it...Check carefully for any shipping damage when it arrives.   You should save your DS box & packing in case it ever needs to go back for service.

wow...have avoided all temptations to ask about the status of my order that went into Stage 1 October 14th and remains there to this day, but have to admit the post title challenges my resolve

Alex has said in other threads that the Lynx preconfigured computers are made in batches. So it looks like they had one they just finished up at the end of October and are sending it out to you.
And here is the post I was referring to.

I'm sorry about the lack of live updates, but I assure you that it will ship within the projected ship date. Lynx units are built in large batches and your Level 4 configuration will be shipped around end of October which is reflected in my original post at the top. It will be worth the wait, please let us know how you like it when it arrives.

I'm on stage 5 after just 3 days, I am ecstatic with how quickly it's moving along. So excited to see the Lumos I ordered in my battle-station.
