I am thinking about purchasing and I want to finance but I have never heard of bread and would like any info on your experience with bread if you have financed with them. Thank you.

The will run a credit check on you to verify credit worthiness and repayment history.

And just like any line of credit extended to you, if you fail to follow thier terms and and the agreement and do not repay the loan properly, sooner or later during collections you credit rating will be impacted at all reporting agencies.

What i mean is do they report your payment history to the credit bureaus as your paying. It helps your credit the more you show positive repayment history.

I only had a three month payback, but I was very happy with customer service. My first check to them was late and they didn't get weird on me. Turned out it was because of the weather. The second check went askew also, and didn't show up for three weeks?! After it was about 4 days late, I authorized an auto withdrawal over the phone. Then when the late check finally showed, they used that for my final payment.

Never was there any implication that I was trying to stiff them or anything, and the problems were not reported. I was happily surprised at the positive attitude I got from those I spoke with. I'd use them again!

A real review. Thanks for the information, I hope other customers can read this and not have to shy away because of the initial cost.

I have had no problems. Very easy process. There is a hard inquiry on your credit report for the initial purchase request as is normal for any loan. I've made my first payment online and so far so good. I would assume any payments made on such loan would also be reported to the credit bureaus. I wouldn't hesitate to use Bread at all. I would also pay everything on time and not have to worry about customer service on late payments!

I just got approved through Bread for $2,500. It was instant and very easy. As stated above, it's a hard credit hit and approval and for what amount will be based on your credit.
