I got my new Vanquish 7 level 2 today and it already has given me a BSOD stating "critical process died". Any ideas on what could cause this? I'm pretty bummed out and concerned, needless to say.

First question: What were you doing when it crashed?

I downloaded "WhoCrashed" and was given a report when the machine failed that gave me critical information to help fix the problem.

The Smart Kids® will be along shortly to offer much better help than I could.

Good luck.

It’s possible you get the BSOD, reboot and it’s gone, as Windows fixes whatever it found. If it continues, then you have a problem.

A big cause of BSOD are bad video card drivers. Go to GeForce.com and download and install new drivers.

Snaike’s suggestion of Whocrashed is an excellent way to get an idea of the cause.   It’ll display the cause and Googling it can help.

I was just gaming a bit, GTA V. I'll give WhoCrashed a try and also try installing some new drivers. Thanks, guys.
