I would go to the Stage 2 CPU cooler and Windows 10 Professional, which I always recommend primarily because of better control over updates. The upgrade now costs much less than upgrading to Pro later.
I already like the build, I would like it better with those two changes. |

If it's longevity you want, upgrade to an 850W PSU, and don't ever skimp on cooling if you overclock. You need the dual fan all-in-one.
The DS M.2 is a SATA SSD. Get a Samsung NVMe for your primary drive. NVMe runs off the PCIe bus and is 5 times faster. You'll give thanks every day you have one of those. I like a 512GB PRO to run really fast scans on the C drive. If you get a larger one, partition it so you keep the OS, apps and maintenance software separate for faster backups and scans. Everything else is fine. With a 1TB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS as primary drive and the other cahnges you still come in under budget. P.S.: Go now to Epic Games website and get the free games! |

Hold on. How do we get our free games? I should be getting Valhalla and Rainbow 6. But haven't received any codes as of late. And i'm in stage 4 for my Lumous build.
