build/ship time?

I am going to be ordering a new rig on the 14th of this month and I have narrowed my choice down to either yourselves or cyberpower.
 
My question is, how long is the build time (approx) from order to out the door for a twister extreme just about maxed out and liquid cooled for both the CPU and Video cards?

Just my two cents here ed1371 but I did tons of research for several months and speed was important for me too. Ultimately it came down to this;

I looked at Cyberpower when someone asked about it on another forum.  Apart from the machines they build for reviews, I would be very hesitant to give them any money based on the consistent reports of wrong components, poorly installed components, and bad service.
 
They have 94 pages of reviews over at www.resellerratings.com and 21 of the pages are made up of Dissatisfied ratings.  That's a huge percentage, and so many of the people had the same issues.
 
Anytime electronics are shipped, you run the risk of dead components.  What I saw with the cyberpower reviews, though, was much more than that.
 
 
What was extremely impressive to me, and was one of the main reasons I chose DS over others, was in the ratings at Reseller, almost 100% of the dissatisfied ratings for their systems were personally responded to by an actual person who listed their contact information and attempted to resolve the problems.

well this is the first time in 10 years I have ever "bought" vice building it myself. I am not too worried about technical support but if something has to be RMA'd then what you just posted does affect my desiscion..
 
Speed is kinda important. I would like to have it waiting for me when I get home from Iraq... (woot hitting the states on the 20th!) but it's not a requirement.

Depends on your build it could take about 2 weeks or more. The thing that get me to order a PC from DS is how to do their business. Unlike other pc builders, DS will test your build to make sure it's completely stable before ship it out. If you want a quick ship time you're better off going somewhere else but if you want a fast,stable,do-it right built then DS is the place for you. For me the waiting time is not important as long as it works like it should when it arrive. You can also opt for a fast delivery if you want. I think DS also have a next day service if you choose.

Recently, delivery times to seem to have stretched out to 3 weeks or more. Still, if I had to choose, I'd rather have the machine built right than have it built fast.

AVA Direct is probably an okay place to buy a computer, too, but I'd take a chance and build it myself, before I'd order from those "other guys".

well I do think I am sold... After reading reviews for both companies, I feel a LOT better dropping $7000 on something that has been done right...

I'm actually offended you think I posted a link to a company that I work for... it wasn't even a link it was a reseller rating... so its ok that they have the cyberpower one on there cause its worse than your rating?  I have absolutely no affiliation with the link I posted, I was simply offering comparison ratings. 
 
If you removed mine then I think its only fair to remove the cyberpower rating as well.

When I made the initial post, I specifically mentioned that I was choosing between cyberpower and DS, so I believe the ratings were warrented.
 
If you were just trying to help I appreciate that, but I have made my choice.

hey i just ordered my PC here on the 6th i hope it gets to me around the time i get home also. i am in iraq too and due around the 20th or so. i bet you are in balad huh? haha... its a small world haha. currently its in stage 1. Im damn excited to use it! i guess perfection takes a while!

Amythyst, I understand what you mean, but, please understand that we don't want to create a big thread with links to our competition. I understand and respect what you did, just that ed1371's posting was enough for the discussion he opened. We don't want more people posting other thinks and starting a even bigger discussion.
