I ordered my PC Apr 29. got to stage 2 June 8th and am told stage 3 possibly end of next week..... Are all the business day estimations for the stages doubled or tripled usually? Looking forward I am wondering if I shouldn't just cancel the order now and buy from amazon/best buy or build from scratch again...

Hi. There are extraordinary situations that have severely limited the availability of a whole range of hardware parts. I don't know what you ordered but I seriously doubt you can get a comparable system from Amazon, Best Buy, etc and none with the service you will get here (notwithstanding your doubts). I suggest you contact [email protected] and he'll find out about your order and more details about the delay. You will not be sorry for the wait once you get it.

I understand your concern and would like to echo what my friend hoserator has said; perhaps contacting Alex would be best for your peace of mind.
As for box store computers... well, let's just say IMHO "you get what you pay for" and going that route, if it were truly an option for you, then you wouldn't have started shopping here at Digital Storm. As for building your own, perhaps you should check with the parts sites to get a first hand glimpse at the dearth of supplies across the industry. Between a global shipping crisis and an alarming shortage of microchips (I invite you to Google those two topics) the supply chains are stretched. Secondarily it seems the GPU drought is easing slightly but is still a factor. Those are just opinions as I have no insight as to why the build orders have been extended. Again, Alex would be the person with the answer. And, again echoing hoserator, it will be worth the wait.

@Adamm1350, thank you for reaching out to me. I hope you're happy with my response and timeline. We're looking forward to hearing about how the PC is when it arrives.

Thank you Alex. I am very happy with the time line. I really don't want to have to start sourcing parts and can't build another pc anymore due to physical inabilities ( hence the screw it just buy a sub par pc from Amazon etc...) I look forward to writing an unboxing post and gushing like all the other customers do. Thank you too all of the customers service people.
