Buying DS need advice

Hello everyone,

I am new to DS and I am currently in the market for a new laptop!  My three choices right now are a ******** laptop, the Alienware m15x, and the DS x15 8690.  I have been searching the forums for a while trying to find reviews on the laptops, but I can't find any.  Does DS put in the same quality into the laptops as desktops? 

I am looking for a laptop for college next year.  I would like to to be somewhat portable, able to play games of medium to high quality, run silently while working microsoft word and internet, and have a battery life of about 4 hours or more.  Could someone fill me in on the specs of the 8690?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance,

To be honest with you, we haven't really marketed our laptops a lot until now. I can tell you that we do our best to build and test the latptops for our customers.
