That's a good price for the specs. Usually, it's 1,200 to 1,300, so I'd say you give it a go.

Hi. The Velox case is the one with the glass on right side. The Lumos has glass all around, and looks good from any angle.

We need to know what you want to spend, and what monitor resolution and speed you are using. Those are the key facts. I DO NOT LIKE custom water cooling. It's not necessary for better anything; in my opinion it's just for looks. Your temperatures inside a Lumos with just the all-in-one CPU cooler and the GPU fans will be very good. I will put it in there if you must have it, but it's a maintenance headache. If it goes wrong , it's a nightmare.

Start your own thread in the CONFIGURATION DISCUSSION and tell us what your budget is and your monitor is.

Can't do a Config thread? This place is as hoserator said, not the right place for this.

That's not a gaming processor. The X-Series is for heavy number crunching for science or business. They are too slow for gaming, and the extra cores do nothing but cost extra.

Intel is behind the times still with the old PCIe Generation 3 platform, and I hear they are late coming with the PCIe 4 parts AMD has been offering for over a year.

The DS "Performance" M.2 is literally the slowest primary drive here. You want a 500TB Firecuda.

The GPU is underpowered for good gaming at high framerates on your monitor.

This is way better:

           3828383    $3914

The CPU/motherboard combo is my favorite for gaming. As I said, more cores is a waste of money.

You don't need the airflow control in that case, but I left it in.

You can't get overclocking on the AMD procs, you won't need it. I don't recommend overclocking the GPU, but up to you. The "tweak" to Windows is a waste of money.
