I picked up my new Bolt Stage 3 yesterday but I can't seem to enable it's wifi hotspot or Bluetooth. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi gethe... You didn't say what you tried, but use the Asus WiFi GO ultility CD to load the drivers for it, install Asus AI Suite from CD and then go to the AI Suite, Tools and WIFI Engine. Within that you can setup the WiFi as AP or Client Mode. Probably Client mode for you as hotspot.
Make sure the card on back of motherboard and antennae are installed, of course. Good luck. |

Antennae... yes, that would help.
So, Bluetooth is working fine now. ...Asus Wifi Go utility CD... that would probably be a useful thing to have. |

It's always the little things in life that throw us a curve.
The Bolt 3 is a real nice rig. Congrats and Enjoy. |

The Bluetooth issue is resolved, which is a huge deal for me as I use a Bluetooth keyboard an mouse (my Bolt is conected to by TV). This definately made playing around a lot more fun this weekend.
The wifi part is still an issue though. If the Asus Wifi Go software or CD was included, I'm not seeing it, and I couldn't find it for download. I do have my old router in a pinch, but I'd prefer to set up the Bolt as a hotspot and have that many fewer wires to mess around with.

I believe ,for your ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe motherboard, a ASUS Utilities disc should be in the folder/binder. If not, call or email DS.
Is the ASUS AI Suite 2 utility installed on the rig? Maybe DS has it installed, but I'm not sure. Within that utility is where all the setups are for WiFi, etc. I believe you can download the Suite 2 utility from Asus website and look under utilities for it. There were only two discs in the binder, the Windows 7 disc, and Digital Storm setup disc, and I didn't see anything that looked like ASUS Utilities. That said, I'll take another look when I get home this evening. Thanks for the assist.
