I've read a few places that the GeForce 8900s are coming in November, maybe I'll wait until then do get a system with a 8800GTX and save some cash

skyR mentioned that in a post on the forums.  I will wait until Nvidia releases the next gen card and then buy another 8800 GTX from DS to set up my SLI.  The sooner the better.

Larry, there is no definite date when the 9series cards are being released.  As everyone knows with Nvidia, there is a projected date and actual date.  Nvidida NEVER makes the projected date.

Sources confirmed invitations from Nvidia for October's unveiling of the g92 has been given out.
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.

Don't forget the big price tag that the new cards will have. Over time, prices have become more over time.
