I have a vanquish level 3. I really want to run an ultrawide monitor for work productivity. I want it to play games on some higher settings as well.

Intel Core i7-8700
GeForce GTX 1070 8GB
16GB DDR4 Memory

Thinking about this monitor.

21:9 UltraWide Monitor
2560 x 1080
144Hz Refresh Rate

Thanks in advance for any help.

Your 1070 should be able to do fine, but you are aware that monitor is freesync

Will that be a big deal? The version with gsync is way more money. I have a 1080p 60hz monitor right now that does not have either.

If your fps drops low you might notice it, 144hz is gonna be different experience, i prefer to match my monitor with my gpu.
