I currently have the level 1 version of the vanquish 4. I wanted to know if I'm able to upgrade to a 970 with ease. Is my motherboard capable of this 970 card? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487088&cm_re=geforce_gtx_970-_-14-487-088-_-Product
Pretty sure my motherboard is a ASUS H110 not sure about the specific details on it or even the exact name of it. Edited by Acecateer - 21 Feb 2016 at 12:51pm |

You should be fine. Your motherboard is good but your power supply at 500 watts is considered minimum for a gtx 970. Should work but not a lot of headroom.
Your 950 I believe uses a single 6 pin PCIE power connector from the power supply, so you'll need to fish around, maybe cut a try-wrap or two to get the other cable out of the harness. If your psu is the modular type, like cx500m for example, you might have to go to the accessory box, find the extra cable and plug it into the psu and run to the 970. Hope this helps.
