What should i have for my Chassis Customization? i am new and have no idea what that is. the categories are Chassis Model, Exterior Finish, and Trim Accents. Please ask any questions you feel necessary for this. Thanks you.

I believe Chassis Customization are basically just a paint job for your case. No purpose other than looks. Personally, I wouldn't bother with those.
Aside from that, DST4ME can spec you out good hardware setup if you can figure out the monitor. |

wonderful builds... if you choose the LC system make sure you get a extra bottle of fluid ($35) or ask which fluid they use so you can procure it.
LC maint: 1 every 6 months top of fluid or as needed 1 every 3 years flush the entire system and replace fluid every once and a while check to make sure fluid is flowing properly you still have stock chassis fans follow air maint as well AIR maint: hold fan and use pressurized non conductive air. use air in short bursts. rotate fan and repeat until clean. repeat for all fans. dust accumulation use bounty (least amount of lint... lint often has a lot of static) do not moisten and gently clean hardware and chassis. never use a vaccum always make sure your grounded and everything is unplugged * when using compressed air hold can upright do not tilt or hold upside down. also spray so the dust comes out of the case and not on your hardware ** i hear that distilled water is non-conductive since it has no minerals in it but i am not sure maybe someone can specify. if that is true you may moisten the paper towel with distilled water Edited by Raif - 05 Jan 2010 at 4:56am |

Distilled water has many levels of distilation... Good distilled water is non-conductive. I would use is very sparingly on parts.. lol
That is why most experienced water cooling people run Distilled water in their loops, and because it is cheap, and has better performance than the store bought stuff. Distilled water does become conductive in a water cooling loop after time, because of the interaction inside the loop with other materials, but so does the store bought pre-made coolants. Distilled water also needs some type of algae killing agent to be added, or else you get little nasties in the loop, a chunk of silver works best in my opinion.

Considering the high amount of germs they say can be found on money, maybe they were on to something back when our coins were silver. hehe

Distilling water entails evaporating water, leaving the minerals and pollutants behind, and then re-condensing and collecting it.

so get a ziplock bag, coat hanger, and a cup of water. use the hanger to make a triangle out of the bag. place cup inside zip it up. place in the sun and there ya go. (5th grade saltwater extration project to make drinkable water). collect the water from the bag and your in business...

@Raif, not to get into your science experiment. Other factors go into distillin wa wa. Impurities etc in the system can cause serious issues. I was an electrician they use distilled water to clean High voltage lines, but supper risky. Used many mistakes, & near misses etc in our training classes. But you got the basics, but I would not use it for nothing but fun....(your experimenatal distilled water) Bill
PS, I wouldn't drink it either for other reasons...

that too, you shouldn't drink that one either. Something about how its made...Not to mention it has no minerials. (Short term or emergency diff story)
But you know every penny counts...guess some of us guys wanna save for the new cards.
Now if were talkin distillin other liquids for a more personal use...hmmmm....
