I updated to a liquid cooler on my Lynx level 2 and am wondering if i can plug my fan that came on the heatsink into the command station in the back to use as a regular fan or if it is only able to be used for the CPU?

A fan is a fan is a fan. Not sure what you mean by command station, but the fan can be connected to any 12 vdc source and used. I wouldn’t think it needs the extra fan, but up to you.

When i say command station i mean the thing in the back that i plug the 2 wires for each fan into for both the RGB and the actual power to make them spin because idk why but when I tried to plug it into it the RGB worked but the blades didn't spin

Got it. Not sure what command controller DS uses in your build, but Corsair’s Commander Pro for example does allow any case fan to be plugged in assuming the plug matches.

You could plug the fan into a fan header on the motherboard or a spare 12v plug from the power supply.
