can you oc a 920 as much as you can oc a 940 i7

if you can reach 3.3 on the 940 can you reach that on the 920 is what im asking.
im going for a cheap build and to get the classifyed and the 2000mhz ram i would need to get the 920 but if the 920 cant OC as high as the 940 then i will save longer.
thanks

also im a bit confused at physx
if i have 3 (1 at first) gtx 285 and a single card (what do you reccomend) or one of the physx cards that are made speciffly for physx.
so you dont have to sli the physx card

do you have to have 2 moniters on vista and does running a dvi and old style plug on the same monitor slow it down

will they fix (if they have not) the monitor problem.

thanks for ALL the answers

the 920 OC can be between 3.3GHz to 3.8GHz on air or liquid.

why don't you just post a ticket number for us so we can see what you have in mind.

Its also dependant on your memory, i ended up getting 1600MHz RAM for a higher OC, it was stuck at 3.4GHz with the 1333 RAM. im hoping for somewhere near 3.8GHz.

Tell us what other hardware you want, i could post you to my setup that i ordered with a few minor changes, you will get a fairly good deal off of Liquid Cooling for OC but thats up to you. to me it is worth the 300 price tag.

Budget and Soundcard or no, Also if you get a 1000 watt PSU it has to be the Corsair. The Silverstone doesn't support the Classified.

But give me and DST some more info to work with, like games and resolution you will be at.  in reality 2000MHz is overkill you wont see a major difference.

Ram speed has nothing to do with oc anymore and even if it did 1333MHz is plenty

for example here is a member with 920, 1333MHz ram and 3.7GHz OC.
