i just want to double check if i have my cards installed correctly, i had recently reseated my cards now i cant seem to remember if i put them back in the right slots. my mother board is the asus deluxe i have the one closest to the cpu lane and the middle one installed. only reason y i am second guessing this is i looked over my graphic card manual and it says to have the closest one to the cpu and the one farthest from the cpu, leave the middle empty. idk if this pertains to my motherboard or wat some feedback would be great thnx again guys.

The manufacturer suggested setup is dependent on the mobo specifications.

in short, its so that you have space between the cards for better temps, however thats not a great idea if one of the lanes runs at x4 speeds, in your case you got it right, the last and black slot, runs at x4 so you don't want to use that, and why we dont' recommend tri sli on p67 mobos.

what case and cooling do you have?
