Few days back I have seen an ad in staff.com which says Digital Storm has options to work from home. Then I applied and I got a reply from a Lady named Amanda claiming she is the recruitment manager for Digital Storm.After few mails she asked me to pay for the training materials first.

I am not sure whether this is the part of Digital Storm's training procedure or a pure case of scam.Thought of informing the officials regarding this

Sounds very much like a scam. Be wary!

Yeah, that reeks of a scam. I also kind of find it hard to believe that a company like DS has a "Recruitment Manager" using a third-party site to charge people for a training packet when DS doesn't even have a "careers" section on it's own website.

It's probably something DS should know about, because if it isn't legit then someone is misrepresenting the company.

Even I had a doubt from the beginning itself seeing her gmail id.
I guess these kinda scams will affect DS's goodwill. Please see the ad in staff.com and do some thing to delete it ASAP.

If you need the mails from her I will provide that too

Alex will probably be in a bit later but as it's Saturday and DS IS closed on the weekends they won't really be able to dig into it until next week.
