This just started last night and it's very annoying but while the computer is on it will randomly let out a bunch of high pitched beeps in a row then it shuts up... then does it again several minutes later, an hour later, etc... kinda random. Wouldn't care so much if it wasn't so friggin loud. It's like maybe 10 or more rapid fire beeps and the lights on the front of the case in the gauges flicker when it beeps.
This is a digital storm system I got almost two years ago, in one of the Twister Lite cases which has the 3 system gauges on the front. Everything on the gauges looks normal and the temp is not getting any hotter. From what I can find it sounds like it could be a cpu overheating issue? System is running fine though and not locking up, and all the fans are working perfectly, nothing new done to the system. Cleaned it out last night too of all dust and after the cleaning it ran fine for about 6 hours then started to do it again. Any clue to whats up? Edited by kyle81 - 09 Sep 2009 at 10:17am |

Sounds like one of the sensors may be going out and thinking that a fan isn't running or something is too hot.
