I have the DS Twister Lite Case.  The face opens and closes, providing access to the USB ports, CD/DVD trays etc.  I accidentally knocked the open face back against it's hinges, and the top hinge broke.  Now the only thing connecting the face to the case is 1 hinge and some cords.  The face can prop up against the rest of the case, but it regularly falls over.  Very annoying.  Can I just remove the face?  It appears the only loss would be the 3 blue-lit guages, but I want to make sure there would be no other issues with cutting the cord connecting the face to the case.
Thanks for your help!

You should be able to do that if you would like to. Another way is to follow the cables that connect to the motherboard and properly disconnect them, just in case if you need to use them again.

Thanks Alex, I like your idea.  I took a simliar approach and took the back of the face off, to see if I could easily disconnect the face.  While at it, I ungracefully disconected the cables from the circuit board in the face.  Oopsie!!  :)  But the computer still works, the face is off, and I have ready access to the USB ports, trays, etc.  Yay!  Thanks!
