Hey everyone, I have finally started my worklog!!! This will be edited on a regular basis and changed up because when I first wrote this, it's kind of all over the place. Sorry about that. Project 1: ___________________PC HARDWARE___________________ ![]() and my 3rd GTX with waterblock
![]() With this waterblock it makes the GTX/Ultra a single slot card, therefore allowing usage of the 3GTX and 2 add'l cards. and the Triple Rad ![]() ________________water Cooling________________________ _________________________________________________________ I got extra stacker 830s at work so I grabbed one and stripped it down. ___________
Then I took the chassis for Powder Coating a week ago. I pick it up on this Wednesday. :(
But after reading Leadanek's post, I may have to screw up the mobo tray's paintjob to make cuts like that... since I forgot to make those cuts when I dropped it off at the Powder Coaters... I also picked up window moulding and gasket material. My roomie is a mechanic and own's his own shop so he's helping me out a lot with Gasket materials, Window Moulding and stuff he has there. Go me! ___________ Friday Week 2: Basically this Pump head increases the flow rate of the pumps we use at DIgital Storm.
2 Rhoebus Sunbeam Fan controllers.
My only complaint is that these swiftech GPU blocks aren't single slot like my koolance blocks. So now I have to sacrifice the sound card and physx card. :( Wednesday: ___________ ________________________ I am ordering 2 more CNT-VD2 nozzles to increase the flow rate between my 3 graphics cards.
I will post temps as soon as I get them.

I am definately gonna be watching this...I have been kicking around the idea of changing my single loop (with dual radiators already) into a Dual loop (with northbridge block too).... Course I am gonna talk to the Danger Den folks in person soon enough and get thier input too.

right on! YOu'll get better temps that way :)
I have read here http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=174401 that a lot of people don't like the Danger Den stuff because of corrosive elements. That's why I went with the EK Supreme.

Well I read that thread... they were talking mostly about mixing 2 types of metal... That is funny they posted a pic of Darth Beavis's (Uber modder that goes to PDXLAN) rig.. Most additives have anti-corrosive additives anyway, I have never had any issues with the DD stuff I have used in my other rig.
Thats a huge radiator! I have a dual size unit in my other one so I can appreciate how big that is!

That's a pretty ambitious project Kelly. It's really cool that you're taking the time to document and share the pics of the process. Can't wait to see the rest of this.

Yeah but the Danger Den blocks use copper and aluminum. Not saying they're bad, but there are better alternatives for cheaper :)
