Although it's not my place to determine the pricing of the parts DSO uses, I'm alittle confused about the new Cool Master Cosmos case price.
 
Why is it the same price as the Extreme and Ultra when it's a lower costing case?
 
 
Cosmos - $169.99
 
Ultra - $214.99
 
Extreme - $274.99
Pro case with extra fan
Quad Q6600 2.4 OC'd 3.1!
Nvidia 8800GT
Asus Maximus Formula Mobo

Cosmos from Newegg is steel.

Digital Storm lists it as aluminum.

Aluminum is a lot more expensive than steel.
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.

i HARDLY doubt they are different materials.

the reason is that DS has a mark up on parts, how else do you think they make anything?

Just for clarification. The reason why the Cosmos is the same price as the ULTRA and EXTREME is because we do not buy enough inventory of the Cosmos. We only started to offer the Cosmos for a few customers.

Not only that, to clarify, the price we ask for a component isn't the same as NewEgg or any other retailer. We have to incorporate, our markup for the item, include adjustments for labor (assembly), if it becomes defective (insurance for replacements, etc), and also inventory storage.
 
There is more to pricing an item than a simple markup. Also, we do not have custom packaging for Cosmos as we do for the ULTRA or EXTREME cases, so we have to manually cut out foam pieces to fit the Cosmos.
 
The price includes our overhead in accommodating the Cosmos case.

DSO should carry this case for the lower end of the price range.

Are gaming cubes any good?  I never seen anyone with one, but they seem to look pretty badass.
 
 
MY GOD!!! Tagan Aplus EL Diablo Case, <---------that case is fricken HUGE! it has a 360mm fan in that sucker.  I think that is enough cooling right there LOL
