I was thinking about swapping my PC's Sirius case for something bigger, like a CM Cosmos, so I can get a video card bigger than an 8800gt down the road if I want to.  So, before I commit myself to doing this, is there anything I should know?(i.e. will the warranty still cover it, will DS fix it if I mess up, can I ship my system so they can do it, etc.)

You will be pretty much completely rebuilding your PC to do this, other than plugging the CPU and RAM into the MOBO.

Its not particularly difficult, but there is definatley potential for things to go haywire.

If you mess up something swapping cases, I don't think it would be reasonable to expect DSO to fix it at no cost - although I am sure they would work with you in a reasonable way.

Not sure on the warranty. I would think they would still swap out components - but they might have a few questions if you had to send the whole system back for some reason.

Personally, I would wait until I actually purchased the new Videocard and do it all at once. You may want a new motherboard/CPU combo by then and it would save alot of time to do it in one shot.

Good luck!

Keep in mind the Cosmos S (I dunno if this is the one you are talking about) does not have a removable motherboard tray...making installation a lot more of a pain in the ass.
