I am looking for information on locating a charging port for my Avon laptop. The company says this model laptop has been discontinued and they can not help me with repairs or replacement parts. Since this is a common hardware issue on laptops, I was hoping someone in the forum might have information on where I could purchase a replacement charging port. It seems that there is something different about the charging ports used by Digital Storm that make it impossible to find one. Thank you in advance for your time.

By "charging port", do you mean the part on the laptop where you plug in the power/charging cord? Or the power brick/adapter?

I am not a laptop user so ...
Call DS to find out the power requirements and type of connector. You can find the adapter in various websites or take the laptop to a Best Buy or other pc parts store to see which will fit and get advise from the Geeks.
